Moosehead Lake, Maine's largest lake, and the Greenville and Rockwood area around it, sit about an hour and a half north of our Norridgewock shop. It's further than our usual day-to-day radius, but for the right camp or waterfront project we make the trip, by appointment, for driveway, septic, land clearing, and site work.

Structures and septic systems near Moosehead need to meet Maine's shoreland water setbacks and vegetation buffer rules, in addition to whatever Greenville, Rockwood, or the local township requires. We plan around those numbers and point you to your local code officer or the Maine DEP to confirm anything specific to your lot.
A lot of Moosehead camps sit off gravel logging roads or long private ways. Our mini excavator and skid steer trailer in on roads that full sized equipment can't manage, without needing a second machine just to widen the way in.
Because Moosehead is outside our regular service area, we schedule these jobs in advance and often group them with other work up that way. Call ahead so we can plan the trip around your timeline.
You deal directly with the owner from the first call to the finished job, which matters even more when the camp is remote and hard to check in on.
Call ahead for Moosehead area projects, we schedule these trips in advance.
We prefer to see a site in person before quoting it. Call to set up a visit, and we'll put together a straightforward quote based on exactly what your property needs.
